It is primarily used to automatically separate (i.e., “sheet-feed”) products stacked in piles and then precisely apply self-adhesive labels to them. It is widely used in automated production lines across industries such as printing, packaging, food, pharmaceuticals, personal care, and electronics.
The workflow of a sheet-feeding labeling machine typically includes the following steps:
① Automatic Sheet Separation: Using a friction-based or vacuum-suction sheet-separation mechanism, stacked materials are separated one sheet at a time and fed onto the conveyor belt at equal intervals. The vacuum-suction method uses negative-pressure suction cups to pick up individual products (such as plastic bags or thin paper cards) without any physical contact throughout the process, effectively resolving issues such as static adhesion and multiple sheets overlapping that occur in traditional friction-based separation.
② Conveying and Positioning: The separated materials are conveyed smoothly along the conveyor belt, while sensors continuously monitor product positions and transmit real-time data to the control system.
③ Label Peeling and Application: Upon receiving a signal, the control system activates the label feed motor to peel the label from the backing paper and apply it to the designated position on the product.
④ Label Pressing: As the product passes through the label pressing rollers (such as large sponge rollers), the label is rolled flat to ensure a secure bond without bubbles or wrinkles.
⑤ Finished Product Collection: Finished products with labels applied are automatically collected by the receiving mechanism, achieving full-process automation.
